Bloomquist died Friday evening, April 29, 2022, at Adventist Health Hospital in Bakersfield, Calif. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. today, May 11, at First Lutheran Church in Trimont. His funeral service will be recorded and available on the funeral home’s website. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Douglas Harold Bloomquist was born Oct. 27, 1955, in Fairmont, Minn., to Harold and Marcella (Bettin) Bloomquist.

Survivors include: his wife, Christine Bloomquist of Bakersfield, Calif.; two daughters, Jessica Lomeli and Debi Waid, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; brother, Dennis Bloomquist of Jackson, Minn.; two sisters, Kathryn “Kathy” Bloomquist, and Emily Lee both of Trimont, Minn.; other relatives and friends.
