Eugene E. Simmering

FAIRMONT — A funeral service for Eugene E. Simmering, 88, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 12, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wilbert, Minn. Burial, with full military honors by Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and the Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222, will follow the service in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Simmering passed away Sunday afternoon, May 8, 2022, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
