Elmer Brandt
WESTBROOK — Elmer Dietrich Brandt, 92, of Westbrook, Minn., passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Our House Hospice of Murray County in Slayton, Minn. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at Westbrook Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Interment is in the Westbrook Cemetery at a later date. Stephens Funeral Service – Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Elmer was born Jan. 27, 1930, in Mountain Lake, Minn., to Erick Emil Leopold Brandt and Marie Romke Brandt. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
Survivors include: his loving wife of more than 67 years, Wanda; children: Kerry Cassens of Westbrook, daughter-in-law Carla England of Tempe, Ariz., Rodney Brandt of Cibolo, Texas, and Greg Brandt of New Ulm; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
