Finstad passed away Sunday evening, April 3, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minn. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at Hosanna Free Lutheran Church in St. James. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.

Ronald Oren Finstad was born April 29, 1941, in St. James, Minn., to Oren and Mae Finstad.

Survivors include: his wife of 59 years, Caroline; sons, Theron and TJ; two grandchildren; sister, Maxine Muller; other relatives and friends.
