REDWOOD FALLS — Alan L. Palmer, 76, of Redwood Falls, formerly of rural Wabasso, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, at New Ulm Medical Center, while surrounded by his family. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 18, at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wabasso. Family and friends are able to gather at the cemetery beginning 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 18, and are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. Lunch and fellowship will follow at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Wabasso. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com. Alan is survived by his spouse of 51 1/2 years, Lois Palmer (Neumann); children: Debra (Leigh) Burlingame of St. Charles, Lori (Curt) Lamb of Almond, Wis., Daniel of Big Arm, Mont., and Ted (Angie) on the family farm, rural Wabasso; grandchildren, Alexander, Eduardo and Li Ann Burlingame, and Cade, Carlee and Tanner Lamb; sister, Diana Hoppe of Trenton, Mo.; brother-in-law, James Putnam of Winnebago; uncle, Herold Palmer of Brainerd; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Kathleen Palmer and Karen Putnam; and brother-in-law, Larry Hoppe.
