He was born June 30, 1935, to Fredrick “Fritz” and Bonnie Scholl, where he spent his life in Winnebago, Minn. with his sister Cheryl. He graduated from Winnebago High School in 1953, and soon after served in the U.S. Navy from 1954-1958. Once Larry completed his time, he came home to run the family farm and marry his wife, Marianne (Reder), on May 29, 1961. They lived on the farm and made a life together raising their two boys, Bradley and Bret. Larry loved to spend his spare time on the golf course and fishing with his close friend Dick. During retirement he and Marianne spent their winters in Kingsland, Texas. He is survived by his two sons, Bradley (LeAnne) Scholl of Frost, and Bret (Amy) Scholl of Fairmont; grandchildren, Joshua, Tyler (Kayla), Zachary (Sarah), and Aubrey; step grandchildren, Dan (Megan), Bethany (Taylor); and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Isaiah, Elijah and Warren.
