Ursula Scott
TRUMAN — Ursula Scott, age 69, of Truman, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Heartland Senior Living in Truman. A celebration of life will be held 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Truman, with Rev. Timothy Chase officiating.
Ursula was born July 22, 1952, in Nurnberg, Germany, to Oscar and Margaret (Kruckenberg) Mueller. She moved to the US when she was 25 and first settled in North Carolina where she got her nursing degree. There were several moves around the US until she and her husband, Scotty, settled in Truman. She was a nurse for over 30 years, when she wasn’t caring for her patients, she cared deeply for her family, was the glue that held them all together and stood by her faith. She also enjoyed knitting, fishing, playing cards and baking for the holidays and keeping up with her grandkids on Snapchat.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Andy (Robin) Graham of Truman, and Jeffrey Graham of Charleston, S.C.; her grandchildren, Carlee, Sarah, Jacob, Kalan, Breanna, Samantha, Cameron, and Jayden; several great-grandchildren; her brother, Bernd Schemmel; as well as many other family and friends in Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Scotty; and her sister, Heidi Beatty. www.zahariafamilyfuneral.com
