Schwanz passed away Monday afternoon, March 14, 2022, at his home in St. James. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday at the Augustana Lutheran Church in St. James. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.

Gary Martin Schwanz was born March 6, 1949, to Martin and Doris (Becker) Schwanz on a farm in South Branch Township, Watonwan County, Minn.

Survivors include: his wife, Karla Schwanz of St. James, Minn.; two sons, Michael Schwanz of Bloomington, Minn., and Daron Schwanz of Savage, Minn.; two grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
