Jeffrey D. Weihe

FAIRMONT — A funeral service for Jeffrey D. Weihe, 37, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Burial will follow the service at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Truman, Minn. After the burial, there will be a time of fellowship and lunch at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Truman. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.

Jeff passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the Mayo Clinic Health System-St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, Minn. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jeffrey D. Weihe was born May 13, 1984, in Fairmont, Minn., the son of Tim and Connie (Armstrong) Weihe. Jeff was baptized on May 27, 1984, and later confirmed into the Lutheran faith on March 28, 1999, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Truman. He attended school in Truman and graduated from Truman High School with the class of 2003. Jeff met the love of his life, RoseAnn Tabatt, on Jan. 23, 2006. They began their life in Fairmont where Jeff worked for ADS for 16 years. He had recently been promoted to quality assurance in the material department which he really enjoyed. On May 8, 2011, Jeff and RoseAnn welcomed home a son, Jaxson Dale. The couple was married on July 19, 2014, on a beautiful farm where RoseAnn grew up outside of Lewisville, Minn. Jeff and RoseAnn were then blessed with their daughter, Jemma Rose, on Aug. 9, 2018, to complete their family. Family was extremely important to Jeff and he treasured spending time with his kids, going to water parks, riding roller coasters, playing games and cheering Jaxson on at his summer soccer games. He was the best dad. Jeff was passionate about sports and in high school, competed in basketball and baseball. In later years, Jeff enjoyed bowling, throwing darts, and playing blackjack and poker. In the fall, Jeff could be found on weekends, cheering on his favorite football teams, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. Jeff’s favorite pastime was sitting by the campfire, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, RoseAnn Weihe of Fairmont; children, Jaxson Weihe and Jemma Weihe; parents, Connie (Lonnie) Smith of Truman, and Tim (Karen) Weihe of Truman; mother-in-law, Theresa Tabatt; brothers, Jorden (Kim) Weihe, Jeremy Smith (Kasaundrae), Parker Weihe (Amanda), and Tanner Weihe (Shelby); grandparents, Larry and Elaine Armstrong, Henry Weihe; Dale and Sandra Tabatt and Harvey and Carole Wiederhoeft; three nieces; four nephews; special cousin, Kayla (Armstrong) and Rod Olson and family; as well as many more cousins, uncles, aunts, great-grandparents and friends.
