Jordan was born March 24, 1994, in Fairmont, to Matt and Betsy (Putnam) Mortenson. He was one of three boys. He attended Blue Earth Area and Granada schools. After school he went on to be a welder at a couple different local companies. When Jordan wasn’t working you would always find him spending time with his boys or hanging out with close friends. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it be taking the boys fishing or to the park to play frisbee golf or hunting or hiking, he relished just being in nature. Family and friends were very important to him and no matter what he was doing, he was living life to the fullest and having a good time. Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Matt and Betsy Mortenson of Granada; his sons, Haydyn, Jaxsyn, Jayse, Marshall, Alex and Myles; brothers, Jake (Brooke) Mortenson, and Zach Mortenson; grandparents, Dwayne Mortenson, Rose Mortenson and Jim Putnam; uncles, Jeff Mortenson and Michael Putnam; aunts, Dawn (Dave) Erickson, and Melissa Steuer; nieces, Nora and Amelia Mortenson; as well as many other extended family members and dear friends.
