Christina was born Sept. 26, 1950, in Hawthorne, Calif., daughter of Norman and Patricia (Tracy) Armstrong. Christina graduated from Petaluma High and attended college for hypno-therapy. She worked as a secretary for her cabinet shop in California. In 1994, she moved to the Midwest. She lived in Fairmont, Minn., before settling in Estherville, Iowa. Chris was a very crafty person; she enjoyed painting and creating many items. She was an excellent card maker and loved to make personalized cards for friends and family. Chris loved to talk and could make friends with anybody, and was lucky to call a few of those friends her chosen family. She loved to garden, watching the flowers grow made her so happy. Chris was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville. She was a grandma to all the children that she met. Chris had a very giving spirit, she would give anything and everything to those that needed it; even if that meant she would go without. She cherished her cat, Izzy. Visiting and being by the ocean any time she could brought great joy to Christina’s life. Christina is survived by her children, Jurrine (Kenny) Olson, Kerrie (Darin) Williams, and Tricia (Greg) Bino; grandchildren, Kimberlee (Ryan), Jon, Kayla, Matt, Nick, Brittany, Brandon (Krystal), Cody (Miranda), and Alex; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Emma, and Oaklee; her siblings, Nancy Armstrong and Rick Armstrong; nieces, Bridget, and Bekki; and nephew, Jeremy.
