Rhonda was born March 15, 1958, in Minneapolis Minn., to Dale and June (Larson) Olson. She was one of 8 children. She attended Blue Earth School where she met Dennis Rademaker. The two of them started dating when they were 13 and 16 years old. They were married Jan. 9, 1975, in Iowa. In May of that year, Sheila was born. Two years later, Kandi was born. Finally, Dennis D. was born 5 years after Kandi. Dennis died April 10, 2015. Rhonda and Dennis are now together again. Rhonda started her work career at the 220 CafÈ in Blue Earth as a waitress. She also waitressed at the A&W, Edies, Happy Chef, and CK’s restaurants in Fairmont. Rhonda retired from the housekeeping department at Mayo-Fairmont in March of 2021.She did get to enjoy two months of retirement before she was

diagnosed with stage-4 small cell lung cancer. Rhonda was a strong trooper and was kicking cancer until right after Thanksgiving. We then learned that her cancer had spread to her brain. She again fought hard and was determined to beat it. 10 rounds of radiation

on the brain, 10 rounds on the chest, and one round of chemo in December and January. Unfortunately, the brain cancer took over. The end of January, Rhonda decided it was time for Hospice. All 3 kids along with grandkids, took care of Rhonda during this time. We would like to Thank St. Croix Hospice, especially Miranda and Brandee, along with other staff at St. Croix. Rhonda’s pride and joy has always been her grandkids. Rhonda enjoyed big family gatherings, having everyone together, just eating laughing and enjoying the company. She also enjoyed Bingo, cross stitching, crosswords and coloring. She also loved being in the semi and traveling with Dennis. Rhonda is survived by her children, Sheila
