Nancy passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Nancy Ann (Thieman) Milbrandt was born June 11, 1935, in Fairmont, Minn., the daughter of G. Leslie (Sparky) and Esther (Pete) (Kruger) Thieman. She received her education attending school in Fairmont and graduated from Fairmont High School with the class of 1953. On June 21, 1953, Nan was united in marriage to Ronald Duane Milbrandt in Fairmont, Minn. To this union one son, Steven, was born. Nan was an incredibly hard worker and was one who was always on the move. Nan was an owner and operator of the Feed Bag Drive Inn and also Milbrandt TV and Appliance. Nan also worked at 3M and the Sirloin House in addition to working for the Martin County Sheriff’s Office as a dispatcher from 1980 until her retirement on June 15, 2000. Nan had a passion for helping others and found great joy in lending a hand to those in need. She looked forward to warm summer days spent tending to her flower gardens and cherished the companionship from her DobermanÕs. Nan had an eye for treasures and enjoyed weekends attending various rummage sales and collected many different items throughout the years. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Steven Milbrandt of Fairmont, Minn.; as well as many cousins, extended family and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, G.
