Gerald Walter Urban was born June 28, 1938, in Winnebago, Minn., to Walter and Selma (Krause) Urban. He was baptized, confirmed, and attended grade school at St. JohnÕs Lutheran Church, Willow Creek. He graduated high school from Southern School of Agriculture in Waseca. He married Lois Harbarth at Immanuel Lutheran Church Glencoe, Minn. Gerald served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a farmer his whole life. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. In later years you could find him in the cab of a tractor helping his son in the field. Gerald is survived by his wife, Lois; daughter, Joanne (Jeff) Schultz of Idaho; son, Curtis (Carmen) of Vernon Center; grandchildren, Kayla (Trevor) Diercks, Ethan (Holly) Schultz, Ashton, Lillie, Slayton Schultz and Christian LeBlanc; brothers, Richard Urban of Mankato, and Lawrence (Susan) Urban of St. Peter, Ill.
