Janzen passed away Thursday afternoon, Feb. 10, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society-Pleasant View in St. James, Minn., after a long battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.

Arlene was born Nov. 8, 1927, in rural Martin County, Minn., to Meta (Holtz) and Walter Meyer.

Survivors include: her children, Leila Groshens of Elk River, Minn., Kim Janzen of Ponder, Texas, and Kent Janzen of Trimont; brothers, James Meyer of Prayer, Mont., Kenneth Meyer of Alexandria, Minn., Dennis Meyer of Hackensack, Minn., and Wesley Meyer of Knox, Ind.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
