Richard L. Pope
TRIMONT — A service of remembrance for Richard “Dick” L. Pope, 90, of Trimont, Minn., will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Trimont. There will be military honors by the Foster-Bernhardt American Legion Post 373 of Trimont at the church. Burial will be at a later date in Waverly Lutheran Cemetery, rural Trimont.
Pope passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 5, 2022, at his home in Trimont, with family at his side. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Saturday at Evangelical Covenant Church in Trimont. For the safety of all, facial coverings and all COVID-19 protocols will be requested. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.
Richard Leroy Pope was born April 10, 1931, in Triumph, Minn., to Theodore and Bertha (Olson) Pope. He served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.
Survivors include: his wife of 68 years, Kay (Sheppard) Pope; his daughter, Melanie Kay Pope; many other relatives and friends.
