James A. Roberts
YELM, Wash. — James A. Roberts, 72, of Yelm, Wash., formerly of Fairmont, Minn., and Welcome, Minn., passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia, Wash. A funeral service for him will be held June 27, 2022, at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash. Barton Family Funeral Services in the Greater Seattle, Wash. area is in charge of arrangements.
James was born March 1, 1949, in Fairmont, Minn., to Sidney and Adeline Roberts. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
Survivors include: his daughter, Dawn Bostrom of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; son, Brian Roberts of University Place, Wash.; three grandsons; one great-grandchild; siblings, Marcia Jarett, Rickie Roberts, Susan Johnson, Jennifer Smith, Pamela Bentley, and Thomas Roberts; other family family and friends.
