Later in life, Teresa attended Rasmussen Business College in Mankato, Minn. On Nov. 27, 1970, Teresa was united in marriage to Jeff Ziemer in Fairmont. Teresa enjoyed fishing and crocheting. She was a talented artist and loved to paint and draw. She liked painting pictures, making flower wreaths, decorative birdhouses, and other crafts. Faith was very important to Teresa and she knew she would be joining her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her greatest love in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She was a kind and loving person, willing to help those in need. Those left to cherish her memory include her eight children, Shelly (Larry) Wendel, Kerry Schmidt, Heather (Jon) Gilderhus, Jason (Jenie) Ziemer, Aaron (Alba) Ziemer, Andy Ziemer, Sarah (Max) Longley and Jenny (Matt) Schuster; 26 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Newville; step-brothers, Ron (Tami) Hensley, and John R. Please don’t cry for me because Jesus is my Savior and hope. I am ready to be with Him and look forward to that gladly.”
