LaVon H. Olson
ST. JAMES — A funeral service for LaVon Helen Olson, age 94, will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Trimont, Minn. The family asks that masks be worn for her service at the church. A private family burial will take place prior to the service at Long Lake Lutheran Cemetery, rural St. James, Minn.
Olson passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.
LaVon was born April 4, 1927, to Herman and Ottilie (Bast) Winkelman.
Survivors include: her daughters, Wendy Farmen of Sauk Rapids, Minn., and Roxanne Sjogren of rural Trimont; daughter-in-law, Gayle Olson of Waite Park, Minn.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Orville Goskeson; and sisters-in-law, Meta Olson, Margie Olson, Ethel Christopher, and Mary Lou Oldenburg.
