Florence “Kathy” Studer
SHERBURN– Private Family Services for Florence “Kathy” Studer, 89, of Mankato and formerly of Sherburn will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Kramer Family Funeral Home Chapel in, Sherburn, Minnesota with Father Jonathan Fasnacht officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke’s Catholic Cemetery in Sherburn, Minnesota.
Kathy passed away on Sunday evening, November 7, 2021 at Old Main Village in Mankato, Minnesota.
Florence Kathryn Gentzkow was born on December 29, 1931 to Frank and Gertrude (Rector) Gentzkow in LaMoure, North Dakota. She was active member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Sherburn and was a member of Sherburn Auxiliary V.F.W. Post #8261 and Thomas P. Saxton American Legion Post 356.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Bill) Peppard of Mankato, Minnesota, Linda Myers of Estherville, Iowa and Joy (Jary) Gewerth of Henderson, Nevada; son, Randy Waldron of St. Paul, Minnesota; step-children, Marsha Studer and Bill Weaver of St. Paul, Minnesota, Jane (Dale) Burkhardt of rural Trimont, Minnesota, Doug Studer of Las Vegas, Nevada; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other family members and friends. She is also survived by special friend, Lee.
