Torres passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Amarante Raymond Torres, Jr. was born Dec. 27, 1947, in Trinidad, Colo., to Amarante and Nieves Maria (Martinez) Torres, Sr.

Survivors include: his children, Valerie Torres, Danny Torres, Brittany Torres, Diana Torres, Trinia Torres, Ricky Torres, and Tocarra (Torres) Stark; sister, Sadie Quade; brother, Joe Torres; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
