Sidney Lee St. John
FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Sidney Lee St. John, age 81, of Fond du Lac, passed away quietly Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at the home of his daughter. At Mr. St. John’s request, there will be no funeral services at this time. The family plans to gather for a celebration of life in November. Cremation has taken place. He was born March 9, 1940, in Fairmont, Minn., the son of Sidney and Mary Martha (McClellan) St. John. Sidney grew up in Trimont, Minn., a consolidation of the villages of Triumph and Monterey, Minn. On June 14, 1959, he married Wanda Caroline Bieberdorf in rural Jackson County, Minn. She preceded him in death on Aug. 26, 1996. Mr. St. John was a 1965 graduate of the University of Minnesota and worked for F.W. Woolworth Company as an executive for 35 years throughout the Midwest. He is survived by his daughter, Tamera (Gary) Clausius; son, Tom (Paula) St. John; five grandchildren, Nathan (Karen) Kraemer, Gavin Clausius, Nichole (Josh) Krueger, Danielle (Brian) Osborn, and Sarah Kraemer; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Michael (Leah) St. John. He was preceded in death by his wife; and brother, Steven St. John.
