She received her education attending school in Heron Lake and graduated from Heron Lake High School with the class of 1947. Helen was a kind and caring person and had a passion for helping others. Following her graduation, Helen’s passion led her to attend St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester where she received her degree in nursing.
