Gary Edward Lund was born June 30, 1949, in Fairmont, Minn. As a child, he loved working on the farm with his cousin. Upon graduation from high school, Gary enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He volunteered coaching football, baseball, softball and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins. Most importantly, Gary loved his family. Gary retired from Canadian Pacific Railroad. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Priscilla; children, Katherine (Trent) Engebretson, Steven (Kathryn) Lund, Christine Lund; grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew and Emma; sister, Susan (Jeff) Naumann; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burton “Bud” and Eunice; and stepmother, Lillian Lund.
