Christophel died Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Sanford Jackson Medical Center in Jackson, Minn. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alpha, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bernice Rosaland Christophel was born Sept. 19, 1927, in Hollandale, Minn., to Ernest “Roy” and Anna (Hagen) Marley.

Survivors include: her son, Michael Christophel of Alpha; daughter, Linda Christophel of Alpha; two grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; four step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Joyce Kabe of Fairmont.
