Diane Hendricks

FAIRMONT — Memorial Mass for Diane E. Hendricks, 75, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2021, at St. John

Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont,

and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. A private

Diane passed away Friday, April 30, 2021, at her home in Fairmont, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Lakeview Funeral

Diane Elaine (Nawrocki) Hendricks was born April 23, 1946, in

Fairmont, Minn., the daughter of Phil and Fern (Wegner) Nawrocki.She attended District 114 Country School in Silver Lake Township

and graduated from East Chain High School in 1964. On Jan. 13, 1968, Diane was united in marriage to John Arthur Oscar Hendricks at Holy Family Catholic Church in East Chain, Minn. The couple made their home in Fairmont and were blessed with one son, Brian. After graduating high school, Diane began working at 3M in Fairmont and held many positions over the years. She retired in May 2007 after 42 years of service. John and Diane enjoyed many summer vacations at Happiness Resort on Ten Mile Lake near Hackensack,

Minn. Diane was also a loyal Notre Dame Fighting Irish football fan.

She enjoyed serving her community through her involvement in 3Mgives. She was co-chair of the Stuff for School program which provided school supplies for kindergarteners throughout Martin County. Diane was also a member of Fairmont Partners in Education.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Brian (Louise) Hendricks of Fairmont; grandson, Aaron Hendricks; four brothers Duane Nawrocki of Fairmont, Doug (Monica) Nawrocki of Marshall, Minn., Dave (Dana) Nawrocki of Fairmont, Dennis (Jana) Nawrocki of Kasson, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her

parents, Phil and Fern Nawrocki; husband, John Hendricks; and her father and mother-in-law, Edward and Eileen Hendricks. The family requests memorials be given in Diane’s name to St. John Vianney School Endowment Fund, Fairmont Partners in Education, or the Martin County Humane Society. www.lakeviewfuneralhome.net
