FAIRMONT — A funeral service for John Dale Swanson, 86, of Fairmont, will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Burial will follow the service at Lakeside Cemetery, Fairmont, with full military honors by the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222.
Swanson died Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 1:30-3 p.m. Saturday at the church in Fairmont. People are asked to be mindful of social distancing guidelines, the wearing of masks and best practices in helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
