Todd A. Heenan

BLUE EARTH — Todd Allan Heenan, age 50, of Blue Earth, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at his home in Blue Earth. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Patton Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at Patton Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.

Todd Allan was born Aug. 26, 1970, in in Cottage Grove, to Dennis and Janice (LaMont) Heenan. He graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1989. Todd met Bridgette Ehrich in June of ’88. They were married on Feb. 22, 1992, in Blue Earth. Todd worked many jobs including, Lamperts, Crown Tonka and “dog catcher” for the Faribault County area. He went to South Central Tech Vocational College for EMT training in 1993, and worked with Winnebago Ambulance, UHD Ambulance, and Gold Cross. Todd loved his work as an EMT, and even saved his father with the 1st AED in Faribault County. Todd also worked for Faribault County Sheriff’s Dept. as a jailer/dispatcher. Most recently, Todd worked for B&B Sanitation and on the side, Weerts Construction. During his free time, you could find Todd with his best friend and son, Tyler, fishing, hunting, at derbies, or with his grandchildren. Todd is survived by his wife, Bridgette of Blue Earth; children, Chantae of Fairmont, Brittany of Winnebago, and Tyler of Blue Earth; three grandchildren, Kaizer Walters, Dalton Heenan, and Garrett Heenan; mother, Janice Heenan of Blue Earth; parents-in-law, Barry and Deb Ehrich of Blue Earth; brothers, Mike Heenan and Mark (Kristin) Heenan of Blue Earth; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis; sister, Denise Heenan; brother-in-law, Paul Ehrich; and his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
