LEDYARD — Eldon Dontje, 89, of Ledyard, Iowa, died Thursday evening, Dec. 17, 2020, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona, after fighting the COVID-19 virus for 11 days. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethany E & R Church in Ledyard. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Social distancing practices will be followed and masks are required. Oakcrest Funeral Services of Bancroft is in charge of arrangements.
