Eileen Knuth Christensen
FAIRMONT — Eileen Knuth Christensen joined her heavenly friends on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont, Minn. A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at a later date when it’s safe. The family requests that memorials be made in accordance with each donor’s individual preference. Eileen was born Sept. 3, 1916, to Frank and Martha Knuth. She attended area schools in Martin County and was a graduate of Fairmont High School. Eileen was united in marriage to Robert Christensen on June 6, 1937. This union blessed them with a son, Darrell, and daughter, Nikki, whom they raised in Ceylon, Minn.
Eileen is survived by her son, Darrell Christensen (Mary) of Omaha, Neb.; daughter, Nikki Dummer (David) of Chanhassen, Minn.; grandchildren, Joanna Christensen of San Antonio, Texas, Erica Christensen of Burbank, Calif., Andrea Allen (David) of Chaska, Minn., and Scott Dummer (Brenda) of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Nicholas Allen, Carson and Kathryn Dummer; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Frank and Martha Knuth; brother, Lorn Knuth and sister-in-law Delores; brother, Lyle Knuth and sister-in-law Stella; and great-grandson, A. J. Dummer.
