Bob was born Feb. 26, 1937, the son of John H. and Elizabeth M. (Maday) Wehner. He attended Fairmont Public Schools. Bob served his country proudly in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957, stationed most of his time in Germany. After military service, Bob did summer road construction for several years. Then later, he owned and operated his own successful carpet laying and floor covering business, which he continued to do until his retirement. Bob is survived by three siblings, Donna M. (David) Riggs of Fairmont, Minn., Shirley A. Craig of Aransas Pass, Texas, and Roger A. Wehner of Madelia, Minn.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Elizabeth M. Wehner, sister-in-law, Joyce M. (Kotewa) Wehner; brother-in-law, Glen Craig; severals, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. A private Catholic funeral Mass and burial will be held at a later date.
