David C. Peterson
BLUE EARTH — A funeral service for David Clare Peterson, 85, of Blue Earth, will be held 2 p.m. today at Life Family Church in Blue Earth, with visitation one hour prior to the service. COVID guidelines will be followed. Those that are unable to attend the service are invited to watch the service live on Patton Funeral Home’s website. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth.
Peterson died Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 18, 2020, at Parker Oaks in Winnebago, with family by his side. Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth is in charge of arrangements.
David Clare Peterson was born May 14, 1935, on the family farm in Verona Township, Minn., to Anton and Alma (Haneland) Peterson.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1963.
Survivors include: his wife, Florence of Blue Earth; children, Shelley Peterson of South St. Paul, Jeffrey Peterson of Farmington, Melissa Diegnau of Huntley, and Jeremy Peterson of Lakeville; four grandchildren; and sister, Diane Schaper of New Richland.
