ORMSBY — A private family service for Ardith “Ardy” Hansen, 90, of rural Ormsby will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Odin.

Hansen died Sunday afternoon, July 26, 2020, at her home in rural Ormsby. A public visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church in Odin. Because of COVID-19, social distancing guidelines will be practiced, and for the health and safety of others, the family encourages those attending to wear a mask if medically able.

Ardith Alice Fransen was born April 23, 1930, on the family farm in rural Jackson to Carl and Hannah (Johnson) Fransen.

Survivors include: her children, Diane Sizer of St. James, Sheryl Ericksen of St. James, Susan Tungsvik of Roseville, Loren Hansen of rural Odin, Jill Skubic of Chanhassen, and David Hansen of rural Ormsby; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Delores Hauge of Osage, Iowa; and brother, Russell Fransen of Jackson.
