SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Janyce Rae Boettcher, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 18, 2020. A private memorial service will be live-streamed 3 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2020.

Janyce Rae was born Jan. 20, 1936, to parents Edward and Elna Kasten, and lived on a farm in the Truman, Minn., area. Janyce attended District 106 elementary and graduated from Truman High School in 1953.

She moved from the Truman area when she married Eldean Boettcher in September of 1957.

Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Scott Boettcher of Ogden, Utah; daughter, Jane (Tom) Fallon of Sioux Falls; grandson, Ryan Fallon of Sioux Falls; sisters-in-law, Rosie Kasten of Truman, Shari Boettcher of Altoona, Iowa; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Elna Kasten; her husband, Eldean; brother, Duane Kasten; and brothers-in-law.
