JACKSON — Mass of Christian Burial for Bonnie J. Shearer, 70, of Jackson will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Church of the Good Shepherd in Jackson. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Jackson.

Shearer died Wed-nesday afternoon, Jan. 8, 2020, at Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Church of the Good Shepherd in Jackson, with a prayer service at 4 p.m.

Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

Kramer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie Jean Emerson was born Oct. 26, 1949, in Huron, S.D., to Francis “Nick” and Evelyn (Janzing) Emerson.

Survivors include: her husband of 45 years, Stan of rural Jackson; daughter, Holly Cushman of Dubuque, Iowa; son, Scyler Shearer of Minneapolis; four granddaughters; mother, Evelyn Emerson; sisters, Kathy Massaro of Whittier, Calif., and Julie Blankartz of Chamberlain, S.D.
