STEWARTVILLE — Lucas Dale Wilson, beloved first child of Joseph and Rachel (Murray) Wilson, was stillborn at 2:20 p.m. Dec. 7, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus, in Rochester, Minn.

Lucas weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 20 inches long. He was baptized shortly after his stillbirth.

Though born without breath, Lucas was born into much love. The first hours that Lucas had on earth were spent cradled in the arms of his parents, grandparents and family.

“And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me.”

Lucas Dale is lovingly survived by his parents, Joseph and Rachel Wilson of Stewartville; grandparents, James and Darlene Wilson of Stewartville, and David and Sandra Murray of Blue Earth; great-grandmother, Elvira Wilson of St. Charles; aunts and uncles, Jimmy (Sara) Wilson, Kelli Wilson, Sarah Murray, and Daniel (Kari) Murray.

Private family services will be held.

The Wilson family requests no flowers be sent.
