COTTAGE GROVE — Judith Susan Guy, age 76, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, at her home surrounded by her beloved family. A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street S. in Cottage Grove. In honor of Judy’s love for sports, friends are requested to wear their favorite Minnesota team colors.

She graduated from Sherburn High School in 1961 and married her high school sweetheart, Larry “Bud” Guy on May 5, 1962.

While living in Sherburn and Fairmont Judy earned her cosmetology and teaching certification and worked at The Hairdressers and was also employed at 3M. They moved to Cottage Grove in 1992.

She is the beloved mother to Jeff (Sandy), Mary (John) Vander Beek, Tim (Stacy) and Nancy (Tim) Mosloski; loving grandmother to Jessica (Dylan), Zachary, Guy (Erin), Molly (Luke), Bethany (Ryan), Joslyn “Joey” (Brandon), Justin, Zachary, Ari, Brandon (Heather), Abby (Chuck), Tyson and Timmy; 26 great-grandchildren; sister Diane Platzer and nephews Doug, Duff, Dale and Don Dorschner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; infant son, Daniel; parents, Harold and Mary; and her brother, Donald.
