BLUE EARTH — A memorial service for John “Joe” Kehr, 76, of Blue Earth will be 10 a.m. Friday at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Kehr died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at United Hospital District in Blue Earth. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.

Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth is in charge of arrangements.

Kehr was born April 24, 1943, in Emmetsburg, Iowa, to John and Ruth (Joynt) Kehr. He served in the Minnesota U.S. Army Reserves.

Survivors include: his wife, Ann; children, John Kehr of Mora, JoAnn Hannaman of Blue Earth, Julie Origer of Spencer, Iowa; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; siblings, Louise Ryan of Woodbury, Richard Kehr of Spencer, Iowa, Michael Kehr of Emmetsburg, Iowa, Jean Hilbert of Britt, Iowa, Jane Hilbert of Wesley, Iowa, and Ann Ryan of North Mankato.
