FAIRMONT — Funeral service for Virgil K. Jacobson, 83, of Fairmont will be 10:30 Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairmont, with military honors provided by the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Kimball Township, Alpha.

Virgil passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 12, 2019, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
