Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at 11:00 AM, at United Lutheran Church in Frost, with Rev. Arne Halbakken officiating.  Burial will be in South Blue Earth Cemetery, Seely Township. Visitation time will be from 9:30 – 11:00 am prior to the service at the church. Idalice was born on July 7, 1936, in Huxley, IA, the daughter of Milford and Ruth Ihle. 

Idalice graduated from Elmore High School. She worked at the Frost school, Frost State Bank, Sears, and New Horizons adoption agency. Behind the scenes, she often served her church and community.

Idalice enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and cooking. She found great joy following her grandchildren’s activities. 

Idalice is survived by her children; Bruce (Ranette) Holmseth of Shoreview, MN, Gary (Darlene) Holmseth of Blue Earth, Lynn (Jeffrey) Stelzer of Lakeville, MN, sisters; Maxine (Dave) Bartels of Spirit Lake, IA, Elaine Ehrich of Fairmont, Sandy (Tom) Schroeder of Wells, brother Larry (Rose) Ihle, sister-in-law, Betty of Champlin, MN; eight grandchildren; Jeff (Jenna) Holmseth, Kelly (Matt) Bohlig, Kristi Holmseth, Grant Holmseth, Riley Holmseth, Brianna Stelzer, Blake Stelzer, Zachary Stelzer, four great-grandchildren; Carter, Braden, Jack and Nora.

Idalice was preceded in death by her husband; Robert, parents; Milford and Ruth Ihle, brother; Jerry Ihle and brother-in-law; Winston Ehrich.
