TRIMONT — A Celebration of Life Service for Walter J. Bettin, 87, of rural Trimont will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Waverly Lutheran Church in rural Trimont, Minnesota with Pastor Anthony Christoffels officiating. Burial will be in the Sherburn Cemetery, Sherburn, Minnesota with military honors by the Thomas P. Saxton American Legion Post #356, Foster-Bernhardt American Legion Post #373 of Trimont and the Sherburn Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8261.
Walter was called to his eternal rest on Thursday evening, September 5, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System in St. James, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont and one hour prior to the services at the Church on Wednesday.
