DALLAS, Texas — Brenda Sue Hampson, age 45, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, in Dallas. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, at American Lutheran Church in Windom, Minn.

Brenda was born Oct. 22, 1973, in Windom, Minn., to Bernice Lynn Fife and William Franklin Heern. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1992. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2010, and MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2012.

She married Brad Hampson on Dec. 31, 2009, in Las Vegas.

Brenda last worked for Fleetpride as a staff accountant where she began in April of 2016.

Brenda was a superb baker and will be remembered for her baked goods (Brenda’s Kitchen). She was passionate about saving pets from rescue centers and loved to watch the Minnesota Twins play.

Brenda is survived by her mother, Bernice (Terry) Fife; father, William (Janice) Heern; husband, Bradley Hampson; sister, Jamie Anderson; brother, Jason Heern; niece, Harmony Anderson; nephew, Dallas Anderson; grandmother, Geraldine (Lloyd) Senne; uncle, Kenny (Anna) Heern; and her pets, Bengals, Ashes and Cowboy.

Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Dorothy Heern; grandfather, Martin Meyer; and uncle Steven Meyer.
