ESTHERVILLE — Trent Deling died Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, at Pearl Valley Nursing Home in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 49. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at United Methodist Church in Armstrong, Iowa, with Pastor Lyndon Roesler officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville.

Trent A. Deling was born Feb. 11, 1970, in Fairmont, Minn., the son of Orville Deling and Jane (Corderman) Mueller. Trent received his education at Exceptional Opportunities in Burt and Algona, Iowa. He then made his home in Estherville and was a resident of ECHO Plus.

Trent loved to color, joke around and was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Armstrong.

Left to cherish Trent’s memory are his mother, Jane Mueller of Ringsted; father, Orville (Irene) Deling of Fairmont; brothers, Todd (Theresa) Deling of Ormsby, Minn., and Troy (Marge) Deling of Swea City; and several nieces and nephews.

He has been preceded in death by his grandparents, Beryl and Lois Corderman, and Herman and Irleen Deling; and stepfather, David Mueller.
