MANKATO — A funeral service for Thomas Lawrence Murphy, 77, of Mankato, formerly of Blue Earth, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Henderson. Burial will be in the church cemetery following the service.

Murphy died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, at New Perspective Senior Living in Mankato. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Henderson, and hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

Kolden Funeral Services in Le Sueur is in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Lawrence Murphy was born Aug. 18, 1942, in Fairmont, son of Victor and Margaret Murphy.

Survivors include: his children, Michele Barrett of Fridley, Tom Murphy of Nicollet, Vic Murphy of St. Paul, Colin Murphy of Minneapolis, Dan Murphy of Minnetonka; nine grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann Hassing of Alpha, and Margaret Murphy of Blue Earth.
