BLUE EARTH — A funeral service for Everett Wessels, 86, of Blue Earth will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Blue Earth. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with military honors.

He died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, at The Beacon in Mapleton. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Patton Funeral Home, Blue Earth, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Wessels was born March 4, 1933, to Carl and Emma (Hundt) Wessels in Blue Earth. He served in the Army from 1953-1955.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Mark of Cross Lake, Michael of Chico, Calif., and Merrilynn of Blue Earth; grandchildren, Blayne Wessels, Mercedes Wessels, Jason Myhran and Autumn Thull; five great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
