EAGAN — Roger Louis Mau, 78, formerly of Truman, Minn., passed away suddenly but peacefully Friday, July 12, 2019, at his home in Eagan, Minn. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, at St. John’s UCC, 301 N. Main St. in Fairmont, Minn.

Roger is survived by his wife of 57 years, Magdalene “Maggie” Mau; son, Chris Mau and his wife, Liz Mau of Oakdale, Minn., and their daughter, Sammi Mau of St. Paul; daughter, Sindy Mau and her children, Henry Steininger and May Steininger of Mendota Heights, Minn., (Matthew Steininger); sister, Joanne Boelter of Trimont, Minn.; brother, David Mau and his wife Gayle of Coon Rapids, Minn.; sister-in-law, Greta Buchka and her husband, Hans of Lichtenfels, Germany; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Gertrude (Schwanz) Mau; parents-in-law, Jakob and Barbara (Daut) Mueller; brothers, Richard Mau and Kenneth Mau; nieces, Lisa Mau and Jody (Krumwiede) Nelson; nephew, Douglas Mau; and great-nephew, Kyle Nelson.
