CHANDLER, Ariz. — Kenneth A. Wendt, 91, of Chandler, Ariz., formerly of Fairmont, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018. A family memorial service was held May 25 at the Village of Ocotillo Assisted Living in Chandler. An inurnment will be held at a later date in Lincoln, Neb.

Kenneth was born Aug. 3, 1926, in Luverne, son of William J. and Bertha K. (Wallace) Wendt. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force, from January 1945 to September 1946, and was honorably discharged.

Survivors include: his wife, Elizabeth Schwinden; children, Kathy Siebe, Barbara Bergsten, Paul Wendt, and Cheryl Heinzman; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert Wendt.
