Connie Lee Snyder was born March 14, 1942, in Elmore, Minn., the daughter of Vernon and Faye (Collison) Snyder. She grew up in and attended school in Elmore, graduating from Elmore High School.

Connie worked for many years at Fairmont Railway Motors, Fairmont Hydraulics and Greenlee-Textron. Connie then began working at K&E Transport of Estherville where she was the office manager until her retirement. Connie treasured spending time with family and friends and visiting her grandchildren. She loved to eat and always seemed to plan her visits to see family to coincide with meal time. Connie also enjoyed time spent with her exercise group at the Methodist Church. In her later years, Connie found great joy in traveling with her partner, Robert Ahlgren including trips to Twins spring training and fall colors on the east coast. Connie also had a love of sports and her weekends were filled with games from whatever season it was. Her quiet time was spent tending to her flower gardens in her yard. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kris (Tom) Seifert of Fairmont, Minn., and Shannon (Wendy) Sweeney of Waconia, Minn.; partner, Robert Ahlgren of Fairmont, Minn.; grandchildren, Tania Sweeney, Chelsea Sweeney, Madison Sweeney, Daniel Sweeney, and Reese Sweeney; sister, Pam (Dallas) Ferley; brother, Jim (Connie) Snyder; sister-in-law, Terry Snyder and her husband, Ismael Serrano; as well as many other extended family and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Faye Snyder; and a son, Todd Sweeney.
