EDINA — Helen Elaine Hyde passed away Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, while she was living at Sunrise of Edina.

Helen was born Dec. 26, 1929, in Fairmont, Minn.

Helen and her husband Eddie owned Hyde’s in downtown Fairmont for many years. Together, they enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, entertaining friends, cats, and cooking.

They also enjoyed the fun and adventure of traveling. One of their favorite places was New Orleans where they spent time during the winter for several years.

Helen was well known as a “classy” lady and for her warm, inviting smile.

Helen is survived by her children, Linda Bachman (Alan) and David Hyde (Bridget); five grandchildren, Josh, Ben, Tanner, Quinci, Hana and Jacob; and six great-grandchildren.
