CHULUOTA, Fla. — Thomas “Tommy” Charles Cockriel (Schultz), age 36, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, in Chuluota, Fla. A celebration of Tommy’s life will be 4-7 p.m. Oct 28, 2017, at the Old Monterey Hall in Trimont, Minn.

Tommy was born March 29, 1981, in St. Paul, Minn. In 1988, the family moved to Trimont. He graduated from Martin County West High in 1999. He then moved to Orlando, Fla.

On March 27, 2016, he was married to Dara McGregor and moved to Chuluota, Fla.

Tommy was a natural with cars. On his 14th birthday, he was given a 1974 International Scout to fix up. From that day forward, he could fix anything. He loved anything to do outdoors especially out muddin around in his pickup with his dog, Dixie. Tommy always had a way of making us laugh. He will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Dara (McGregor) Cockriel; stepsons, Corbin Allen and John Johnson; dad and mom, Mike and Tena Schultz; father and stepmom, Tom and Christena (Tena) Cockriel; brothers, Bo (Courtney) Schultz, and Kody Schultz; stepbrother, Nick Cockriel; stepsister, Jackie Cockriel; grandparents, Sue Cockriel, Daryl and Lois Schultz; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
